ASC PechaKucha Event

I took part in the Artist Studio Company’s second PetaKutcha event last week (Wednesday 14 March 2012) at Erlang House. Me and seven other ASC artists each talked about practice and projects in 6 minutes and 40 seconds, which is how long 20 slides, each displayed for 20 seconds, take to run through.

I attempted to explain my Luddite obsession by drawing on Kate Bush, Tony Harrison, Emily Bronte, and Erol Flynn (as Robin Hood) amongst other things.

It’s difficult to read through the entire first verse and chorus of Wuthering Heights in 20 seconds.
